Lunar Paths are an up-and-coming postpunk darkwave duo. Veterans of the original Yorkshire goth scene, ex Cold Dance and Skeletal Family members Diane Dubois and Kevin Hunter decided to start making music together again in late 2021. Despite the thousands of miles that now separate their homes and studios—Kevin is in America, Diane is in Europe—they have managed to create quite a stir on the scene with their debut EP, Fuse (2022), first album, Glimmer (2024), their 26 singles and many fine videos, two of which won ‘Video of the Week’ from White Light White Heat. Their music has been released on labels as diverse as Unknown Pleasures Records, Acid Bath Records, Violet Hour Transmissions and a forthcoming release on State of Bass. This emerging duo has appeared on dozens of playlists and digital download compilations, and their regular airplay by alternative DJs and VJs alike has earned them a healthy following: they are fast approaching their first thousand followers on each of the social platforms. Not bad for a band that has yet to play live! Lunar Paths are not letting a little thing like the Atlantic Ocean stand in the way of them taking their music on the road, and they are currently making active plans to do just that.
